The Atlantic Records release Day into Night was Bob’s best-selling album, occupying the Contempoary Jazz charts for over a year.

 

The stylistically diverse cd yielded several iconic tunes that remain a fixture on Radio around the world.

The featured players on the album range in scope from Gerald Albright and Brian Culbertson to Miles Davis’ bassist Richard Patterson and Jazz trumpeter extraordinaire Orbert Davis.
