Adventures in Jazz brought forth the much anticipated collaboration between Bob Mamet and multi-genre keyboardist/composer David Benoit. The Benoit-produced chart-topper yielded enduring hits such as “News from the Blues” and “At Midnight,” as well as acoustic fare like “Six Stories” and the title track featuring the great Eric Marienthal on sax. The closing title “Nightsong” is a solo piano meditation that remains a fan-favorite in Bob’s repertoire.
